As the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants, I was lovingly taught to choose stability first. I went into corporate finance and spent 10 years climbing the ladder. On paper, it looked like success. In reality, I felt drained, small, disconnected from myself. Ultimately, I completely burned out.

Eventually, I left corporate and poured myself into wellness. I trained as a yoga teacher, launched a podcast, and became a coach. For a while, it felt like freedom.
