She helps wellness entrepreneurs stop hustling, stop burning out, and finally build businesses that reflect who they truly are -grounded in intuition, purpose, and courage.
You weren’t made to play small or squeeze yourself into someone else’s blueprint. It’s time to step into your full voice, your full vision, and own the creative powerhouse you already are.
I grew up the daughter of Taiwanese immigrants. As a kid I painted, played piano, and let my imagination run wild, but when it came time to choose a career I was told to focus on what would provide financial success and job stability.
I studied finance then got a job in corporate finance. I worked hard to climb the corporate ladder for the next decade.
I accomplished what seemed good on paper - manager title, 6-figure salary, and what looked like the perfect life. But, I had lost myself in the process. I gave up so much of who I was to fit the mold of who I was supposed to be.
Something inside of me felt that this wasn't it. There had to be more to life than being miserable most days and desperately waiting for my next vacation.
In 2019, I worked with a life coach who helped me start advocating for my own wants and needs and making time for my interests and passions again.
In 2020, I completed my 200-hour Dharma Yoga teacher training. It was life-changing, like coming home to myself. I was also deeply inspired by my classmates, many of whom had thriving careers outside of corporate. For the first time, I started to see real proof that it was possible to live differently.
By 2021, I had burned out completely in my finance job. I tried everything - new roles, new companies, even new functions - but nothing fixed the misalignment I felt. The stress eventually led to health problems, and after much soul-searching, I made a decision: my well-being mattered more than the title, money, or prestige of my job. So I quit.
At first, I thought I might circle back into finance in a new way, or even pivot into financial planning. But deep down, I knew those paths weren’t for me.
I left corporate determined not just to survive, but to find a way of living and working that actually felt like mine.
I followed my intuition and poured myself into wellness - teaching yoga, coaching, and creating. For a while, it felt like freedom.
But then I burned out again. This time, in the very business I had built for myself. And the hardest part? Realizing I couldn’t blame anyone else. That shame was painful, but it became my turning point.
I realized the change I needed wasn’t just about what I was doing, it was about how I was caring for myself, how I was running my business, and my capacity to hold it all. I had to learn how to work with my nervous system, rebuild trust in myself, and create a business that honored my energy instead of draining it.
That process changed everything. It gave me the confidence to lead, the courage to stand out, and the freedom to build a business that feels true to me.
Now, as a business coach and host of the Permission to Flow podcast, I help wellness entrepreneurs do the same: realign their businesses with their purpose, energy, and intuition so they can grow sustainably, live well, and do the work they were meant for.
